I am a lifelong resident of the great state of Maryland. I completed my undergraduate studies with honors at the University of Maryland and attended graduate school to obtain my Master of Acupuncture Degree at the Maryland University of Integrative Health. I have been licensed to practice acupuncture by the Maryland Department of Health and Mental Hygiene since 2013.
In my experience, acupuncture is an ancient and wonderful system that facilitates healing and creates internal balance for individuals. The practice of acupuncture developed over thousands of years by observing the cycles of life and nature, and it resolves ailments by restoring homeostasis in the body and mind. Acupuncture allows us to direct our focus and power inwards, something immensely valuable in today's modern culture of constantly responding to external stimuli.
I have successfully delivered hundreds of treatments to both male and female patients presenting with a wide variety of pathologies, including pain, stress, digestive disorders, sleep issues, mental health, and even facial rejuvenation. Acupuncture nourishes and supports the ability of individuals to be well and stay well, and can be used to resolve existing symptoms as well as prevent future ones from arising. I have been fortunate to see many of my own patients overcome their health obstacles and thrive. People often come in to my office with a chief complaint and find that with a course of acupuncture treatment, other little ailments they had forgotten about - or learned to live with - also became better.
I am excited and passionate about using the skills and tools I have learned in delivering the best acupuncture experience to my community. Please contact me using the form on my website with any questions or feedback!

Acupuncture has been practiced successfully for thousands of years and in countries all over the planet. It is drug-free, safe, and effective. Many of my patients experience relief from physical symptoms like pain, as well as mental relief in the form of decreased stress and anxiety levels. It might seem counter-intuitive that inserting needles into area of the body creates a soothing experience, but most patients experience deep relaxation that lasts well beyond the treatment session itself. The needles we use are hair-thin and not painful, and people often fall asleep during treatment because of the state of tranquility they attain.
In my early childhood, I discovered that I wanted to play a role in making people's lives better. I believe that acupuncture provides the best medium for me to do this. I get to be with people, listen deeply, learn something new and fascinating each day, and use my greatest gifts -- my hands. I have worked with all types of people throughout my career, and I truly care about the health and safety of my patients both inside and outside of my office. To me, being an acupuncturist is a privilege and an honor. I practice in a safe, clean, and welcoming environment, and I look forward to making your life better with the power of acupuncture!
